What colour to choose, what type of texture, paintbrushes, paint machines etc comes first in our mind when its come to home decoration. However, we often forget to know the details of using these accessories to paint our home perfectly. So here are some tips specifically on How to use paint spray machine during home maintenance and improvement.

• Rent a paint spray machine, depending on your choice among three kinds of spray machine, airless, which has been firstly recommended, compressed air, and electric pump for small projects. Before starting your home renovation and maintenance explain your dealer what kind of room you are painting, what paint you are using and then rent, and airless spray machine accordingly.

• Remember, when you start using paint spray machine cover the rest area which you do not want to paint, as spraying doesn’t all go on to the wall and puts a lot of paint into the air, like a fog and can destroy already painted area. Also cover yourself well, and consider wearing a ski mask, because you are going to improve your home interiors, not to paint yourself.

• Now first step should be taken during home renovation while using paint spray machine,    is to pour the paint into a bin or in a bucket and then thin the paint, but not more than as per recommended by the manufacturer.

• Then start with a corner, keep your strokes smooth and steady while working from top to the bottom, using light codes go well rather than heavy ones because too much overlapping of paint can create “columns” of paint, which never go well with your home interiors.

• Paint spray machines are prone to clogging and during painting your home you are not going to call the instructor repeatedly, therefore learn how to fix that clogging problem for better and quick home renovation.

• Remember to turn off all your appliances like air conditioners, water heaters, and furnaces or you can spoil your complete home decorations.

• Do not hold the nozzle close to your skin, from which pain comes out, as it can harm your skin and never try to unclog a nozzle while its running as pressure coming at the end is very high in density and even harm your skin.

Always apply one coat of primer and two coats of finish, one by one and let the first coat dry up nicely.

During home renovations, painting ceilings and corners are the major task to complete it wisely because any overlapping can leave the wall untidy. Always apply paint at corners first with the help of small brush and then, outlines the ceiling area anticlockwise where it meets the wall.

For painting doors and windows area use roller pan away on the ceilings and then on the walls. But do not pour heavy amount of paint into, as it will leak out and small amount of paint in your roller pan will dry up quickly and will a nice finish to your home decor.
Start using paint rollers for final touch-up paint and get as close into the corners as you can without making a messy paint line. Painting from dry area into wet will reduce any ridges. Remember never use latex paint-soaked tools in an enclosed area it will produce a foul smell.
