• Always use a high quality paintbrush do not jump on the prices of a paintbrush choose a tapered end paintbrush which is easy to use.
• Paint the area of jambs and trims in which door closes into and let it dry first, then start painting in even strokes, the rest of the door surface.
• There might an area which dry so quickly while painting and paint doesn’t spread properly. To fix this problem you can allow this area to dry properly and then paint it again. But be sure to not use over load your paint brush and never use paint rollers on doors to paint them as the excess paint leak out.

Home Improvement: Paint an Antique room Interior Wall for a new look

Materials Required:-
1. Paint rollers, Paint roller naps, Water-based paint, Brushes paint, Trays drop cloth, Painter’s tape.
2. You will need to have flat finished interior wall paint, which should be water based, remember 1 gallon covers 450-550 sq. ft.
3. For the Antique Faux application, quart water-based, flat finish interior wall paint is necessary.
Tips:-
1. Extendable paint rollers are good and useful when painting on big walls and ceilings.
2. To apply paint at corners of the walls, an angled bristle brush works best.
3. Antique painting is little bit tough so to get that perfect look, you can practice the faux finish technique on any piece of wooden before starting on the walls.
Steps:-
1. Firstly, place some old cloth or sheet of newspaper to protect flooring. Then, opt a nice colour scheme to painting your wall.
2. Start with patience, take your painting rollers, angle bristle brushes first, and apply one base coat of paint on the entire wall. Do not leave the corners, to fill the edges use an angle bristle brushes. And let it dry.
3. To get the antique faux finish and feather look , take a small brush and dip it half in that manner, that you will get an almost dry brush.
