Home Herb Gardening: Growing Herbs in the Home Garden

When it’s come to home decorating, and renovations, we most of the time forget our gardens, and plants. From which we get fresh air and that makes our environment even more light, and if some of us would like to grow herbs at home than, insufficient information about gardening stops up to do so. Herb gardening at home is not a very tough task, but you need acquire proper knowledge for the same. So here are some tips on herb gardening at home:-

• There are multitude variety of herbs that we can grow in our herb garden, like herbs that we can cook, some herbs gives nice fragrance and foliage, some have medicinal properties so to know your favourite herb, you need to search and decide what herbs you want to grow.

• After specifying that what herb you want to grow in your home herb garden, next you need to find a specialized nursery of herbs, where you can get relevant information about herb gardening at home and you can purchase accordingly.

• This we have learned in our school that sun gives energy to plants to make their food right? And it is even true sun, plays a vital role in growing plants, so choosing a proper place where your herb gardening can get direct sunlight at least 4-5 hours a day is essential.

• For herbs gardening at home, using big containers is always good. Containers that are 7-9 inches deep recommended in which you can make a group of multiple herbs plants in the same one.

• Yes! Local nurseries are the great source from where you can get everything for your herb plantation; it could anything from well-drained soil, coarse sand, and mushroom compost etc.

• After collecting big containers, soils, gravel and mushroom compost it’s time to act upon
• Your herbs home gardening. Firstly, make a container’ drainage hole and well-draining potting soil. Than mix-up, coarse sand and mushroom compost and settle the drainage of the pot.

• Next is watering, we often over do plant watering, that gives wrong consequences of making them overburden and dull. Until the soil is moist but not saturated you should make stand each pot in about an inch of tepid water.

• Finally, harvesting at home with little precautions can grow- up a happy herbs garden at home just give the right water amount to you plants and care them regularly, like cutting out dull leaves and later you can clip put springs and outer leaves as you need them but leave a proper portion of plants to grow well.

• Seaweed extract or fish emulsion are some good feed for happy herbs growth.
